Designers' notes

Directly connected to the Gods. This pattern on the stola is inspired by a historic headpiece worn by the Sultan of Java in Indonesia. It is said that these curls are energy points, much like chakras and when turning correctly the connection with the divine has been established. The curls in this stola are turned into triangles, that range from smaller to larger to smaller.

The Ko Stola is woven from soft alpaca with a subtle golden shimmer. With its generous two-metre length and 80 cm width, it can be draped over a suit, wrapped around the shoulders, or worn as a sculptural layer over eveningwear.

As one wearer once remarked:
